Terms of Service
Last updated: March 2025
1. Acceptance
By accessing or using ShipNative ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of service
ShipNative is an AI-powered tool that generates React Native + Expo application code based on natural language descriptions. The Service is provided "as is" and is intended as a starting point for app development, not production-ready software.
3. Accounts
You must sign in with a valid Google or GitHub account via Clerk to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
• Generate code that is illegal, harmful, or intended to deceive others.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, bypass rate limits, or abuse the AI generation pipeline.
• Generate content that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others.
• Resell or white-label the Service without our written permission.
We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms without notice.
5. Ownership of generated code
You own the code ShipNative generates for you. We claim no intellectual property rights over the output. You are free to use, modify, and distribute the generated code for any purpose, including commercial use.
Note: Generated code may incidentally resemble open-source code patterns due to the nature of AI training. You are responsible for ensuring your use complies with relevant open-source licenses.
6. Free tier and paid plans
The free tier includes up to 10 builds per day. Paid plans are billed monthly via Stripe. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your account settings, effective at the end of the billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial months.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that generated code will be error-free, secure, or suitable for any particular purpose. Always review and test generated code before deploying to production.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ShipNative shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.
9. Changes to terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which ShipNative operates. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration.
